1982 - 1986
Virtually every European country has had a microcar maker and Portugal is no exception. The Entreposto Sado 550 had a 2-seater fibreglass body on a steel tube chassis equipped with a Daihatsu 547cc 4-stroke 2-cylinder engine. This made it faster than other microcars, it was capable of 69mph. The other features included a 4-speed gearbox, rigid axles with leaf springs front and rear and hydraulic drum brakes.
