The Silver Shadow II first entered production in 1977 as revised version of the successful Silver Shadow (I). Mechanical changes included rack and pinion steering and fuel injection for some US models.
The Silver Shadow II had many noticeable body and interior changes including a front air dam, larger one piece bumpers, revised facia panels and split level, fully automatic air conditioning as used on the Camargue. The Silver Shadow stayed in production until 1980 when it was replaced by the Silver Spirit.
