The Leone coupe was introduced first in 1971, followed by a saloon in February 1972.  The 1,361 cc four-cylinder boxer engine drove the front wheels with output of 80 bhp (SAE) at 6,400 rpm.  The Subaru was sold in Europe.  The 1975 model was 4,000 mm (157 in) long, weighed 750 kg (1,650 lb), and had a top speed of 100 mph (160 kph).
