The Vignale Gamine was all Alfredo Vignale's own work. It was built on the floor-pan of the Fiat 500 and had a 499 cc twin-cylinder engine. The two seater car had something of the look of a Fiat 508 Balilla Coppa d'Oro from the 1930s. Its wheelbase was 1,840 mm (72 1/2 in) with overall length 3,020 mm (118 3/4 in).
It was intended for the Italian market or at least for countries with a good climate.
Vignale was killed in a car accident in November 1969 and the company was taken over by De Tomaso.
